Production Support
Pinion can take responsibility for administration of production support and operations. We provide the required technical resources to minimise costs whilst keeping the operations running smoothly. Pinion agrees on Service Level Agreements that are critical to a client’s business and monitors these closely to ensure their compliance and to guarantee the continuity of critical systems and processes.
For example, Pinion has supported a Russian bank since 2005. The bank provides sales finance, personal loans, and Visa cards to over 800,000 customers. Pinion provides the bank with:-
- 24/ 7 support for the production system.
- Responsibility for monitoring the production system
- Providing emergency fixes to production problems, ensuring continuity of the on-line service
- Completion of the batch update to strict service level agreements (SLA).
In addition, Pinion takes responsibility for the twice yearly compliance releases issued by the software vendor. This entails, retrofitting the changes to the local customisations, completing comprehensive testing, and meeting implementation timescales dictated by the bankcard associations. Pinion has been proactive in proposing improvements to the production service and have implemented changes that have achieved a 30% reduction in the batch run times.
