Testing Services

Whether it is functional testing or stress testing that the client requires, Pinion can offer a full range of testing services – from preparation of test scripts, to test data creation, test execution, and test environment management. Our approach is to automate as much of the testing process as possible by developing tools to assist in both test data preparation and test results verification.

Over the years Pinion has developed tools for;

- extracting records from production files and scrambling/depersonalising the data
- generating test data from test cases documented in excel
- file and screen comparison
- generating screen prints

Recent projects have included: -

- Compliance release testing of VisionPlus and Postilion in Switzerland and Finland.
This involved the generation of clearing files and the use of MasterCard simulators to generate authorization requests.
- Testing of a new Postilion system for the launch of a fuel card in Central Europe.
- Testing the migration of two businesses onto a common version of VisionPlus.
This project involved targeted testing to prove new functionality and running a number of production parallel runs for both businesses.
